Also, bear in mind the following important reminders:
- Check your fire extinguishers.
- Reactivate your satellite television service if you deactivated over the winter (and check the batteries in your remotes!).
- Stock candles, flashlights and fresh batteries in case of any power outages.
- Check smoke alarms and change out the batteries. Please note that you are now also required to have a carbon monoxide detector in your Lake Nacimiento real estate.
- Check the condition of your garbage cans and wash them out if necessary. Be sure to have bungee cords and ammonia on hand.
- Don’t forget to have your lot weed abated by June 10th! County ordinance would like you to weed eat before 10 A.M.
