1. Consider the Length of Stay– You’ll want to think through how long you’re going to be in Central California. Ideally, you’ll want to plan on being in a location for five years if you’re going to buy, but three years would still be a good length for buying a Lake Nacimiento home.
2. Consider the Option for Renting– If you aren’t sure if your plans will change, but you’re set on buying an Oak Shores or Heritage Ranch home; consider its renting appeal. If you do end up relocating after only a year or two of owning and you’re not able to sell at that time; there are a few questions you’ll want to ask.
