Like I said in my last blog post, September is California Wine Month, and with that comes many wine-related events! As your Central California real estate agent, I want to fill you in on details of two coming up this month, so you have plenty of time to purchase tickets and plan ahead.
Beaverstock
Beaverstock takes place on Sept. 19 and 20 at Castoro Cellars in Paso Robles and includes two full days of live music! The lineup on Saturday includes Dawes, The California Honeydrops, Sambada, The Bills and The Tipsy Gypsies. Sunday’s lineup includes WAR, La Santa Cecilia, Birds of Chicago, The Brothers Comatose and The Mother Corn Shuckers. And that’s just one stage of performances!
Aside from music, Beaverstock is also two full days of yoga and arts. Each day, you can participate in numerous types of yoga flows. If you’re feeling crafty, you’re covered there, too! Saturday, enjoy the craft of making your own felted creation, and Sunday, learn to create your own dream catcher.
For relaxing spa treatments, Vino Therapy will be at Beaverstock to offer herbal foot baths, vino scrubs, rose feet masks, vino massages and more.
Beaverstock will also satisfy your food and beverage needs with a slew of wine, craft beer, hard cider and kombucha options! There will also be loads of food vendors available, such as The Pairing Knife, Bliss Café, Lemoine Creperie, Choco’s Mexican Grill and many more.
One-day tickets cost $50, or two-day tickets cost $70. Proceeds benefit the Templeton Education Foundation.
SAVOR the Central Coast
SAVOR the Central Coast takes place from Sept. 24 through Sept. 27 and celebrates all things food and wine related! The Main Event takes place Sept. 26 and 27 and showcases Central California wine, master chefs, brew masters, local fishermen and artisanal food producers. This takes place at Santa Margarita Ranch and is one of the largest events of the year in this region.
At the main event, you can enjoy unlimited food and wine tasting with over 100 wineries, restaurants and food purveyors. There is also live music, educational seminars and more.
Adventure Tours take place Thursday and Friday and allow you to explore new regions of Central California. This includes Hearst’s Enchanted History in San Simeon, Roam with the Clydesdales at Covell Ranch in Cambria, Find Your Muse in the Gardens of the Paso Robles Inn and many more.
Thursday through Saturday, local vineyards host their own events, from delicious dinners to sunset musical experiences. Highlights include the Strings at Sunset Opening Night Party, Cocktail Shootout, Ancient Peaks Wine Dinner and more.
Ticket prices vary, depending on which events and activities you want to partake in during the SAVOR the Central Coast weekend. You have lots of options, depending on your budget!
